The synopsis
Mark goes into a newsagent to buy a ‘paper but finds himself inexorably drawn towards the top shelf magazines….Not the ideal circumstances, then, in which to bump into your estranged wife for the first time in two months….

MARK: (Stand-up on buying porn magazines) It's not just that you're publicly admitting what you're going to do, you're telling everyone, you're going to need some reminders first! You're making a public statement that you're going without, and you have been for a tragically long time and you're getting pathetically desperate....(Pause)....By the way, my wife left me.....

(Mark is hiding some magazines behind his back)                                 BECKY: What have you done with your right arm?                              MARK:   I haven't being doing anything with it - get off my back!

I can't say much without spoiling the plot, but the sequence with the camera will leave you crying with laughter (if not the entire last ten minutes). No wonder this episode won Joking Apart its Montreux award.
